About Us

We’re not here to lead a movement—we’re here to support the people who already are.

Mindful Living is a cooperative-rooted organization dedicated to building regenerative infrastructure in places that need it—and keeping it rooted there.

We work across multiple contexts:

  • stewarding Regeneration Centers,

  • supporting civic-led development,

  • and helping businesses transition into shared ownership.

But the throughline is always the same:
We help build the systems that let communities lead their own future.

Rooted in Practice

We don’t just talk about regeneration—we build the systems that make it possible. Our work lives in real spaces, with real communities, solving real problems.

Designed to Let Go

We create structures that don’t depend on us. Every system we build is meant to be handed off—so local people can lead without waiting on outside permission or funding.

Connected but Not Controlling

We partner across sectors—public, private, nonprofit—but we’re not beholden to any. Our loyalty is to the place, the people, and the long-term health of the ecosystem they call home.

Who We Are

We’re systems thinkers, builders, educators, and community stewards with deep roots in public service, cooperative development, clean energy, military systems, and regenerative design.

Our core team leads from behind the scenes—supporting local leaders, civic actors, and everyday people who care about where they live.

We are not the story. The community is.
